As the founder of Brothers Business Law, PLC, he leads a practice focused on transactional matters, mergers and acquisitions, business formations, employment law, and business litigation. Matthew earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1993. He holds a B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Boston College.

Licensed to practice in Tennessee since 1993 and admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee in 1994, Matthew has a strong litigation and transactional background. His prior experience includes positions at firms ranging from boutique employment law practices to mid-sized general business firms. This diverse foundation gives him a well-rounded perspective and practical insight into the needs of businesses at every stage.

Before founding Brothers Business Law, PLC in 2016, Matthew held partner and attorney roles at several firms, where he worked extensively on commercial transactions, employment matters, and business disputes. His current practice emphasizes responsive, efficient service, whether helping a client negotiate a merger, form a new company, or resolve a contract conflict.
