Gerissa Conforti

Gerissa Conforti is a Partner at The Dixon Firm whose practice focuses on mass actions, class actions, complex multidistrict litigation, employment law disputes, commercial matters, and outside general counsel work. She represents individuals against major corporations and insurance companies, including people injured by defective products or other wrongful conduct. She also leads mass arbitrations and represents employees in discrimination, retaliation, and labor disputes while handling matters through every stage of litigation.

Gerissa earned her B.A., cum laude, from the University of California, Riverside in 2006, her J.D. from California Western School of Law in 2009, and her LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from the same school in 2011. During law school, she received multiple awards and honors recognizing academic performance and trial advocacy. Her education supports a litigation practice spanning individual, class, mass, employment, and commercial matters in state and federal courts.

Gerissa also serves as outside general counsel to startup companies, commercial and multifamily residential landlords, and other businesses. She advises clients on risk management, compliance, commercial property acquisitions, lease negotiations, contracts, and broader business issues. Her work combines preventive counseling with litigation, allowing her to guide clients through day-to-day legal concerns while representing their interests when disputes advance into formal proceedings, arbitration, or courtroom litigation in state and federal forums.

Gerissa Conforti served on the California Western School of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors from 2012 to 2018 and on the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice Board from 2012 to 2015. She remains active with organizations including Lawyers Club of San Diego, the American Association for Justice, the Federal Bar Association, and Consumer Attorneys of California. Her professional involvement complements a practice centered on advocacy, business counsel, and complex litigation.
