Adria Lynn Silva is an attorney at Sass, Everhart & Silva with more than 25 years of experience in labor and employment law. She represents employees in discrimination and harassment matters involving age, disability, family status, sex, marital status, national origin, pregnancy, race, religion, and sexual orientation. She also represents students and employees in Title IX claims involving pregnancy discrimination, athletics access, equal pay, harassment, and retaliation.
Ms. Silva earned her B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. She is admitted in Florida, the US Supreme Court, the Sixth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals, and multiple federal district courts. Her legal education and litigation background support her work across employment, education discrimination, housing discrimination, and related civil rights matters.
Ms. Silva has also represented homeowners and tenants under the Fair Housing Act and customers and patrons facing discrimination in places of public accommodation. Earlier in her career, she represented migrant farmworkers in employment discrimination cases and claims under the Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act and Fair Labor Standards Act. She later maintained her own practice, representing employees and students in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, Title VII, Title IX, and housing discrimination matters.
Adria Lynn Silva serves on the National Employment Lawyers Association board and as its Vice President of Affiliate Relations. She was elected to the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers in 2025 and serves on the Executive Council of The Florida Bar Labor and Employment Law Section. She has also held leadership positions with Florida NELA and the Michael R.N. McDonnell American Inn of Court and regularly speaks and writes about employment and Title IX law.
