George Lattas

George Lattas is a highly experienced transactional attorney specializing in commercial real estate, business law, leasing, and corporate matters. With a finance, economics, and public accounting background, he brings a strategic, business-oriented approach to his legal practice. His clients range from institutional landlords and national tenants to startups and individual investors seeking guidance on real estate transactions, lease agreements, and business formations.

George earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law and has extensive experience outside the legal profession, including working at GE Real Estate, Deloitte, and the nonprofit sector in Washington, D.C. His financial and business acumen, complemented by his MBA, gives him a unique edge in negotiating complex transactions and structuring deals that align with his clients’ long-term goals.

In 2011, George served as general counsel for a commercial real estate development and management company, handling lease negotiations, amendments, and assignments for national and local tenants. In 2013, he established his law firm, focusing on commercial property acquisitions, sales, title examinations, loan documentation, and business structuring. He is well-versed in land use matters, corporate governance, and shareholder agreements, making him a trusted legal advisor for businesses of all sizes.

Recognized by Super Lawyers, DePaul University College of Law, and the Hellenic Bar Association, George Lattas is also active in the legal and philanthropic communities. He serves as Chairman of the DePaul Law Dean’s Advisory Council, Vice-Chair of the Metropolis Council of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago, and a Director of the Hellenic Bar Association. Additionally, he teaches business law at the college level and has been featured on NBC Chicago, where he discusses real estate legal matters.
