George E. McArdle

George E. McArdle is a partner and co-founder of McArdle Franco PLLC in Coral Gables, Florida. His practice covers governmental approvals, real estate and de novo deal structuring, debt and equity financing, business structuring, transaction structuring, and complex commercial litigation. He focuses on solving difficult business and development issues by combining legal strategy with substantial experience in banking, real estate, construction, and financial analysis.

George earned a J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 1985 and a B.S.F.S. in Economic Affairs, cum laude, from Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service in 1970. His academic background in law, economics, and international affairs supports sophisticated analysis of financing, transactions, regulatory approvals, and commercial disputes involving significant financial and development considerations.

George began his professional career with Chase Manhattan Bank, working in London and later at the bank’s New York headquarters. He led credit training, loan portfolio analysis, special projects involving problem and real-estate-owned loans, and mortgage banking operations. His legal work has included structuring a transaction valued above $300 million, resolving major guaranty disputes, and advising clients on development, construction, financing, and commercial litigation matters.

He has managed real estate partnerships that built and sold thousands of homes and has consulted on commercial development projects, including a public-private project in South Miami.
