Andrew D. Weisblatt

Andrew D. Weisblatt is a Houston business lawyer and founder of The Weisblatt Law Firm, PLLC. Andrew earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988, followed by his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in Houston in 1992. After becoming licensed, he began practicing with attorney Alvin M. Rosenthal. Together, they expanded their practice from a two-lawyer office into a larger legal team. His academic background and early commercial work provided a foundation for advising business owners, managing disputes, and addressing the legal needs of growing companies.

From 2005 through 2009, Andrew served as in-house counsel and chief operating officer for a multinational steel-products company. That position gave him direct responsibility for business operations as well as legal matters. In 2009 he founded his present firm after years of private practice and corporate leadership. His work now includes reviewing and negotiating contracts, assisting with business formation, handling disputes between companies, and addressing legal questions connected to day-to-day business activity.

Andrew D. Weisblatt brings both outside counsel and executive management experience to commercial legal work.
