Gary E. Gendernalik is a Michigan attorney who represents property owners and developers in land use and property disputes. Gary earned a Bachelor’s degree in economics from St. Joseph’s College in Indiana in 1971, graduating magna cum laude. He went on to earn a Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1974 and was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan that year. He worked in construction to help pay for college and law school, gaining firsthand experience in a field closely connected to his later property and development work.
Gary has guided clients through site plan approval proceedings and matters before zoning boards of appeals. He has also represented property owners and developers in circuit court litigation involving development, zoning, and other property disputes. His practice includes mediation and case evaluation in the Macomb County Circuit Court and the 42-2 District Court. In addition, he provides guidance on estate planning issues and probate proceedings, helping clients address legal questions tied to their property and long-term plans.
Gary E. Gendernalik has longstanding ties to the New Baltimore and Chesterfield Township communities. He previously chaired the Chesterfield Township Planning Commission for 10 years and has been a member of the Anchor Bay Rotary Club for decades.
