He later pursued further studies at the University of California, Irvine, before earning his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, providing a strong foundation for his legal career.

Gary has argued more than one hundred appeals in state and federal appellate courts, often presenting oral arguments in cases spanning bankruptcy, employment disputes, insurance coverage, products liability, intellectual property, and personal injury.
