Gary began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, graduating summa cum laude. He later pursued further studies at the University of California, Irvine, before earning his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, providing a strong foundation for his legal career.
Gary has argued more than one hundred appeals in state and federal appellate courts, often presenting oral arguments in cases spanning bankruptcy, employment disputes, insurance coverage, products liability, intellectual property, and personal injury. His ability to frame persuasive arguments has led to significant reversals, dismissals, and appellate victories that shaped key areas of the law.
Gary’s notable work includes serving as appellate counsel in patent infringement litigation, where he secured a reversal before the Federal Circuit, defeating a petition for review before the U.S. Supreme Court. He has also successfully defended against class certification efforts in nationwide and statewide cases involving pharmaceuticals, oil and gas litigation, equipment rental disputes, and medical device preemption matters.
