Garret T. Barnes

Garret T. Barnes is a founding equity partner at Barnes, Walker, Goethe, Perron, Shea & Robinson, PLLC, and brings more than 30 years of legal experience to his real estate and business law practice. Based in Bradenton, Florida, Garret represents clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions, land development, zoning, planning, and administrative law.

Garret earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from Wake Forest University in 1987 and completed his Juris Doctor at Stetson University College of Law in 1991. That same year, he was admitted to The Florida Bar and began building a distinguished legal career focused on serving property owners, developers, and business professionals across Manatee and surrounding counties.

Garret is widely recognized for his deep legal knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and practical approach to resolving complex real estate matters. His practice spans a broad range of services, from drafting and negotiating contracts to advising on land use regulations, permitting processes, and business formation.
