Frank Ward

Frank Ward is a dedicated criminal defense attorney at Ward Law LLC who has practiced law in North Alabama for over 18 years. He focuses on helping people facing DUI charges, driver license suspensions, commercial driver license (CDL) disqualifications, and criminal record expungements. Throughout his career, he has worked on hundreds of cases, guiding clients through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Known for his deep understanding of Alabama DUI laws and his commitment to fair legal representation, Mr. Ward has built a strong reputation in the local legal community.

Mr. Ward earned his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). While in law school, he served as Research & Writing Editor for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, demonstrating his strong skills in legal writing and analysis.

Mr. Ward has helped hundreds of people reduce or eliminate the suspension of their driver’s licenses. He has also assisted many commercial drivers in fighting CDL disqualifications that could affect their careers. When Alabama passed its first expungement law in 2014, he was among the first attorneys in the state to file expungement petitions. Since then, he has helped hundreds of clients clear their records and move forward with confidence.

Frank Ward is a co-author of the Alabama DUI Handbook (West Publishing), which helps other attorneys learn how to defend DUI cases. He is a member of the National College for DUI Defense and has also been part of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Ward continues to offer skilled, honest legal support to those in need throughout North Alabama.
