Erik K. Martin is the founding attorney of Martin Lawyers, PLLC, where he provides experienced legal counsel across oil and gas law, estate planning, probate, and business matters. With a career grounded in service and excellence, Erik guides individuals, families, and entrepreneurs through complex legal challenges with clarity and skill.
Erik earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from Baylor University School of Law in 2007, following a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. His early career began at the prestigious international law firm Haynes and Boone, LLP, where he gained invaluable litigation and transactional experience handling matters in both state and federal courts.
Since founding his firm, Erik has concentrated his practice on Oil and Gas Law, becoming Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2015. His practice also includes comprehensive estate planning and probate services, such as drafting wills, litigating will contests, and managing estate administration with a client-centered approach.
Beyond his legal practice, Erik is committed to service. In 2014, the Pro Bono College of Texas recognized him for his work defending a Congolese refugee from deportation. He also contributes to the community through board service with Fort Worth Rugby Academy and Youth Serve NTX.
