During law school, he served as an Editor of the University of the District of Columbia Law Review, strengthening his legal research and writing skills.

Erik has been admitted to practice law in Kentucky and has continued serving clients through a wide range of legal matters. His work includes handling domestic disputes, contract concerns, juvenile matters, and criminal cases that require detailed preparation. He aims to explain legal procedures clearly so clients can better understand each stage of their case.

Erik has also remained active in professional and community responsibilities throughout his legal career. He has been a Member of the Kentucky Bar Association since 2004. In addition, he has served as the Church Council for Immanuel Lutheran Church since 1999.
