Eric R. Burris

Eric R. Burris is a seasoned litigator and office managing partner at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck in Albuquerque. With over 35 years of experience, he handles high-stakes cases in commercial litigation, employment, antitrust, construction, and product liability, representing clients in state, federal, and appellate courts.

Eric earned his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University in 1988 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, cum laude, from Tulsa University. He is admitted to practice in New Mexico, the U.S. District Courts of New Mexico and Colorado, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Tenth and Seventh Circuits.

Eric’s litigation work spans industries such as healthcare, financial services, real estate, and telecommunications. He represents major clients like GlaxoSmithKline and CenturyLink and has successfully resolved complex matters involving class actions, FELA claims, construction disputes, and intellectual property conflicts.
