Eric M. Lemmer

Eric M. Lemmer is a business-focused attorney who advises small to mid-sized companies on corporate, transactional, and governance matters. His practice centers on serving as long-term counsel to business owners, guiding them through critical legal decisions while aligning legal strategy with operational and financial objectives.

Eric earned his Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia, where he was admitted to the McIntire School of Commerce for his final two years. He focused on finance and marketing, developing a strong foundation in business operations and strategic planning.

Eric went on to receive his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from George Mason University School of Law. During law school, he served as an Associate Editor of the George Mason Civil Rights Law Journal, reflecting strong analytical, research, and writing skills that continue to inform his legal practice.

Before joining Arlington Law Group, Eric practiced with Bingham McCutchen LLP in Washington, D.C., representing domestic and international technology, telecommunications, and private equity clients. His work involved time-sensitive transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings, and corporate governance compliance.

During this period, he gained extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and government contracts. These included stock and asset purchase agreements, employment agreements, real estate leases, indemnification provisions, and board and stockholder consents across a wide range of industries.

For more than a decade, Eric has advised Arlington Law Group’s clients on business law matters involving both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. He assists clients from initial formation through growth, restructuring, and exit transactions, preparing and negotiating contracts such as commercial leases, governance documents, employment agreements, and real estate acquisition and sale agreements.
