About
Eric C. Awerkamp is a Mesa attorney who represents injured workers and accident victims throughout Arizona. His practice centers on workers’ compensation and personal injury law. Over the years, he has successfully represented thousands of injured persons and built a reputation for dedicated, steady legal guidance.
Eric earned his B.A. in Accounting, 1986, Summa Cum Laude, from Arizona State University. He went on to receive his J.D. in 1989 from J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he was a member of the law review. His academic training supports his detailed and analytical approach to every case.
After law school, Eric began his career as a litigation associate with Beus, Gilbert & Morrill. In 1993, he joined Brown, Arenofsky, Squire & Sacco and practiced in the areas of workers’ compensation and personal injury. In 1997, he opened his own practice and has continued in these areas since.
Eric is a certified workers’ compensation specialist and a member of the Arizona Association for Justice. He is the past CLE co-chair of the workers’ compensation section of the State Bar of Arizona and serves as chairman of AALIW’s ICA liaison committee.
Eric C. Awerkamp handles industrial accidents, workplace injuries, trucking accidents, product liability, drunk-driving accidents, and pedestrian or motor-vehicle claims.
