About
Emily Palmer is an Associate Attorney at Willamette Legacy Law in Salem, Oregon. She joined the firm in 2024 and focuses on estate planning and probate matters. Her work helps clients prepare for the future, organize important legal documents, and address the administration issues that can follow a death. She brings recent estate-planning clinic and law-firm experience to a practice centered on practical planning for individuals and families.
Palmer earned a Juris Doctorate from Willamette University College of Law in 2023 and a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from Lawrence University in 2019. During her final year of law school, she participated in Willamette University’s Trusts and Estates Clinic. That experience allowed her to manage estate planning and probate clients directly and strengthened her interest in helping people make thoughtful decisions about property, family needs, and future administration.
Before joining Willamette Legacy Law, Palmer worked first as a law clerk and then as an associate attorney at Stahancyk, Kent & Hook. Her law school clinic experience gave her responsibility for client matters involving estate planning and probate, while her early private-practice work added experience with professional legal service and case management. She now applies that background to wills, trusts, probate, and related planning needs for Salem-area clients.
Emily Palmer is admitted to the Oregon State Bar and is a member of WealthCounsel. She also has a record of community involvement, including prior service as treasurer of a neighborhood association board. Her legal practice reflects a growing focus on estate planning and probate, with an emphasis on understanding client goals, preparing clear documents, and helping families handle legal responsibilities during important life transitions.
