Freeman Green

Freeman Green is the founder of an estate planning law firm in Salem, Oregon, where he advises clients on estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, trust administration, business succession, and estate tax matters. He began practicing in the estate planning field after law school and has continued to build his work around planning for families, administering estates, and helping business owners prepare for future ownership and wealth-transfer decisions.

Green earned a J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2007 and a B.A. from Brigham Young University in 2005. At Iowa, he received Highest Honors and the Boyd Service Award for volunteer work during law school. His education and early estate-planning experience provided a foundation for advising on tax-sensitive planning, probate procedure, fiduciary responsibilities, trust administration, and the legal issues involved in succession planning.

Green began his legal career with the Law Office of Eden Rose Brown, where he was introduced to estate planning, probate, and after-death administration. In 2010, he joined Saalfeld Griggs PC, continued developing his estate practice, and became a partner in 2018. He opened his own firm in 2021, carrying forward a practice focused on estate planning and administration for individuals, families, and business owners.

Freeman Green has also presented on estate planning topics, including probate, trustee selection, gifting, tax issues, and estate-planning considerations for other professionals. His work reflects long-term involvement in Oregon estate planning and trust matters.
