Mayra A. Gonzalez

Mayra A. Gonzalez is an Associate Attorney at Willamette Legacy Law in Salem, Oregon. She helps clients prepare for the future through wills, trusts, and other essential estate planning documents. Her work focuses on supporting families through life transitions and helping clients build and preserve intergenerational wealth. Gonzalez earned a J.D. from Willamette University College of Law in 2022, a B.S. in Behavioral Science from Utah Valley University in 2018, and an A.S. in Science from Utah Valley University in 2017. During law school, she worked with nonprofit organizations and participated in the Willamette University Trusts and Estates Legal Clinic. Her academic and clinic experience gave her direct exposure to estate planning for individuals and families.

In the Trusts and Estates Legal Clinic, Gonzalez provided low- and no-cost estate planning services to clients in the Portland metropolitan area and Salem. That work developed practical experience in preparing planning documents, communicating with clients about personal and financial goals, and identifying the legal tools that can support family needs over time. She now applies that foundation in private practice while assisting clients with wills, trusts, and related planning decisions.

Mayra A. Gonzalez is admitted to the Oregon State Bar and participates in professional and community organizations connected to estate planning and family service. Her activities have included the Oregon State Bar Estate Planning and Estate Administration Section, the Marion County Bar Association, WealthCounsel, and Family Building Blocks Young Leaders Council.
