Emily J. Young is dedicated to guiding seniors, families, and individuals with special needs through important legal decisions with compassion and skill. Since 2014, she has helped clients manage elder law concerns, protect estates, and prepare for the future with careful planning. Her focus is on building security and peace of mind for those she serves.
Emily began her academic journey at Auburn University, completing her undergraduate studies in 2003. She then earned her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the Birmingham School of Law in 2014, marking the beginning of her legal career. In 2019, she advanced her expertise by obtaining a Master of Laws in Estate Planning and Elder Law from Western New England University.
Emily provides experienced legal counsel in elder law, estate planning, probate, and special needs planning. She also represents clients in business and corporate matters, as well as estate and trust litigation. This broad range of practice areas allows her to address complex family and financial needs while protecting client rights in both planning and litigation.
Emily has been recognized for her professional achievements through multiple Rising Stars selections from 2020 to 2024, underscoring her strong commitment to excellence.
