About
Ellen Geske is a trial lawyer at Davis Kelin Law Firm, where her practice centers on representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice, legal malpractice, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and insurance bad faith cases. Her dedication to justice and refined legal skills make her a strong advocate for clients facing complex, high-stakes litigation.
Ellen earned her undergraduate degree in political science with a minor in German studies from the University of Southern Illinois. She later received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of New Mexico School of Law. During law school, she was active in the Student Health Law Society, participated in the National Health Law Moot Court Competition, and served on the UNM Health Sciences Center’s Bioethics Committee.
Before joining Davis Kelin, Ellen began her legal career at a medical malpractice defense firm, gaining firsthand insight into defense strategies. Recognizing her commitment to representing injured parties, she shifted focus and clerked for the Honorable C. Shannon Bacon at the New Mexico Supreme Court, where she developed a deep foundation in legal research, analysis, and writing.
Ellen has since applied her experience to appellate advocacy and litigation involving personal injury, health law, legal malpractice, and employment law. Her analytical approach and strong legal writing have led to a published opinion in the field of health law.
Ellen Geske currently serves on the Board of Editors for the New Mexico Trial Lawyer Journal and is a member of the New Mexico Women’s Bar Association. She continues to advocate for fairness in the legal system and is committed to serving the people of New Mexico with integrity and determination.
