Alice G. Pinderhughes is the founder of Alice G. Pinderhughes, P.A., where she offers experienced counsel in family law, probate and estate administration, real estate, and business organization. With a legal career spanning over four decades, she is widely respected for her extensive legal knowledge and long-standing dedication to Maryland’s legal community.
Alice earned her B.A. with honors in political science from Goucher College in 1973 and her J.D. from the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America in 1976. Her early legal work included a clerkship with the Court of Special Appeals and roles as Assistant Attorney General and law professor at Stevenson University and the University of Baltimore.
Alice founded her private law firm in 1985 and established Pinderhughes Title, Inc. in 1988. Her judicial service includes 24 years as a Domestic Examiner Master for the Circuit Court of Baltimore City, as well as roles as a mediator for the U.S. Postal Service and the Orphans’ Court. She currently serves as Appeals Counsel for the Board of Liquor License Commissioners and mediates family law cases for the Circuit Court.
Throughout her career, Alice has guided clients through complex legal issues, focusing on fairness, resolution, and client empowerment. Her work in mediation and family law has helped hundreds navigate sensitive disputes with clarity and professionalism.
Alice G. Pinderhughes has received numerous honors, including recognition from Super Lawyers, The Daily Record, and U.S. News’ Best Law Firms. Her service also extends to the community, including trustee work at Gilman School and the Maryland Affordable Housing Trust.
