Elizabeth Robben Murray, Of Counsel at Friday, Eldredge & Clark, LLP, has built a distinguished career handling complex litigation in Arkansas and beyond. Her practice includes employment disputes, product liability, natural gas litigation, discrimination lawsuits, trade secrets, commercial contracts, and covenants not to compete. She also advises clients on legislation, constitutional amendments, and initiated acts. With decades of experience, she is recognized as a trusted advocate in both the courtroom and the legislative arena.

Ms. Murray earned her B.S. Ed. from the University of Arkansas before receiving her J.D., with high honors, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law in 1979, where she served as Survey Editor of the Law Review. After graduation, she clerked for United States District Judge William Overton of the Eastern District of Arkansas from 1979 to 1981, gaining valuable early experience in federal litigation.

Throughout her career, Ms. Murray has held leadership roles within the firm, including serving as head of the Labor and Employment Practice Group and on the management committee. She has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 2003 across multiple categories, including Bet-the-Company Litigation, Employment Law, Commercial Litigation, and Trade Secrets. She has also been honored as “Lawyer of the Year” in Employment Law – Individuals for Little Rock in 2019 and 2022 and consistently recognized by Super Lawyers and Martindale-Hubbell with its AV Preeminent rating.

Elizabeth Robben Murray remains active in professional associations, including the American, Arkansas, and Pulaski County Bar Associations, and previously served as a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel.
