Elizabeth A. Lashway

Elizabeth A. Lashway is Of Counsel at Archstone Law Group and a business advisor and disputes attorney whose practice includes administrative law, alcoholic beverages licensing, business law, business litigation, contracts, hospitality, municipal law, regulatory compliance, leasing, and zoning. She represents businesses and individuals on state and local regulatory matters and advises alcoholic beverage manufacturers, suppliers, wineries, breweries, hotels, restaurants, package stores, and brokers on licensing, contracts, and operational legal issues.

Elizabeth earned a B.A. from Dickinson College, graduating cum laude, and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. Her education supports a practice that combines business counseling with administrative and regulatory work. She has built additional perspective through public service and private practice, including nearly a decade as an Assistant City Solicitor for Cambridge and service as a Commissioner of the Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission from 2015 through 2019.

Elizabeth assists clients with commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, liquor licenses, common victualer licenses, state approvals, municipal permits, and regulatory compliance. She appears before Massachusetts courts, state agencies, and local boards and advises clients facing licensing or business disputes. Her experience also includes defending alcoholic beverage licensees in matters involving Massachusetts franchise law. She founded Lashway Law in 2019 and joined Archstone in an Of Counsel role in 2022.
