About

Elizabeth A. Calandrillo is a founding partner of Ross & Calandrillo in Mountainside, New Jersey, where she focuses on family and matrimonial law. Her practice includes divorce, child custody, support, relocation, domestic violence, mediation, and other family matters. Calandrillo also assists clients with residential real estate transactions and straightforward estate planning, including wills, powers of attorney, and medical proxies. She helps clients address significant family transitions through litigation, negotiation, and alternative dispute resolution.

Calandrillo earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2000 after receiving a B.A. magna cum laude in English from St. Peter’s University, with minors in Women’s Studies and Classical Studies. After law school, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Elijah A. Miller, J.S.C., in the Family Part of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Her education and clerkship provided a strong foundation for matrimonial practice and court procedure.

Calandrillo has focused her career on family law and has served as a court-appointed guardian ad litem for children in matrimonial matters and as pro bono counsel for indigent clients. She has participated in Early Settlement Panels across several New Jersey counties and completed court-approved mediation training in 2010. Her experience also includes parent coordination in high-conflict divorce matters. One of her matrimonial cases contributed to the published appellate decision A.J. v. R.J. concerning relocation within New Jersey.

Elizabeth A. Calandrillo has been recognized by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Certified Matrimonial Law Attorney since 2017 and is also a certified mediator and parent coordinator.
