Elan B. Rafael

Elan B. Rafael is a dedicated trial attorney with over two decades of experience fighting for clients in personal injury and criminal defense matters. Since 2003, he has represented thousands of individuals injured in auto accidents, dog bites, slip and falls, and more, relentlessly challenging insurance companies that refuse to offer fair compensation. Mr. Rafael also defends clients facing serious criminal charges, including DUI and felony offenses, providing assertive, experienced legal representation.

Mr. Rafael earned his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 2003 and holds a B.A. from Florida State University (2001). His legal career began at the Office of the Public Defender for the State of Maryland, where he successfully defended clients in cases ranging from DUI to first-degree murder. This experience instilled in him a passion for standing up against powerful institutions and protecting the rights of the accused.

Elan B. Rafael later transitioned to personal injury litigation, where he developed a reputation for turning lowball offers into substantial verdicts and settlements. Whether pursuing justice for the injured or securing acquittals for the accused, his approach is rooted in personalized service, aggressive advocacy, and cost-effective representation.

Admitted to practice in Maryland (2004), Washington D.C. (2010), and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland (2011), Mr. Rafael is a member of the Maryland Association for Justice and the Criminal Law Association.
