Duane L. Coker is the founding shareholder of Coker, Robb & Cannon, Family Lawyers, a boutique Texas law firm focused on family law. Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, he has built his reputation on professionalism, integrity, and dedication to achieving fair resolutions for families in transition. With decades of legal experience, he represents clients in complex divorce, custody, and estate matters across North Texas.

Coker earned his B.A. in Political Science and Journalism from Baylor University and his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law. Before founding his firm, he practiced with Eisenberg, Weigel, Carlson, Blau & Clemens in Milwaukee and later worked in Washington, D.C., for a member of the U.S. Congress. His broad legal and policy background provides a well-rounded perspective on issues affecting families and individuals, both in and out of court.

Throughout his career, Coker has been recognized for his professional excellence, including listings in Super Lawyers® from 2011 to 2022 and multiple “Best of Denton County” awards. He has served as President of the Denton County Bar Association and as a Senior Founding Fellow of the Texas College of Collaborative Law. He is also a Certified Mediator and a Charter Member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas.
