Drew Eident focuses his practice on civil litigation, employment law, and insurance law. His background includes experience with litigation for a major global insurance provider, where he handled employment practices matters. He works to protect client interests through careful preparation, clear advice, and steady advocacy in Connecticut courts and negotiations alike.
Eident earned his B.A. from Oberlin College and his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law. During law school, he was named a UConn Law Dean’s Scholar and received the Edward Sheehy Scholarship. He also competed in Mock Trial, National Dispute Resolution, and Transactional events. These experiences strengthened his legal writing, oral advocacy, negotiation skills, and ability to solve disputes with sound judgment under pressure in practice settings.
Eident has helped people by using legal knowledge in settings that required care, focus, and public service. Through the Animal Law Clinic, he supported efforts to prosecute criminal animal abusers in Connecticut state courts. That work gave him experience with court procedure, evidence, and advocacy for vulnerable interests. His later employment litigation work helped him understand how legal disputes affect businesses, workers, insurers, and communities during difficult claims processes clearly.
Drew Eident is admitted to practice in Connecticut and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association. As of counsel, he assists clients with professional, organized, and practical support across litigation, employment, and insurance matters.
