Aimee M. Bateman

Aimee M. Bateman is an experienced attorney specializing in criminal defense, litigation, business and contract law, and military law, with a focus on complex investigations. A retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army, she has extensive experience in courtroom advocacy, legal leadership, and advising clients across a broad range of legal matters.

Aimee earned an LL.M. from The Judge Advocate General’s School, U.S. Army, in 2012, with a specialty in Criminal Law. She received her J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2008, graduating summa cum laude with a Certificate in Business Law. She also holds an M.S. from Troy University and a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Aimee has held numerous leadership positions throughout her legal and military career. Her service included roles as Senior Defense Counsel, Regional Defense Counsel, Command Judge Advocate, Associate Professor of Criminal Law, Chief of Military Justice, and Trial Counsel. She currently serves as the Founder and Managing Partner of Bateman Law Group, LLC, where she leads the firm’s legal operations and client representation.

Aimee has extensive experience handling criminal law matters, litigation management, business and contract issues, military law cases, and complex investigations. Her work has included advising organizations, managing legal teams, prosecuting and defending cases, and providing strategic legal guidance. She has served clients in both military and civilian settings, bringing practical insight and strong advocacy to every matter.

Aimee M. Bateman has received numerous academic, professional, and military honors throughout her career. Her recognitions include the American Bar Association’s Outstanding Young Military Lawyer Award and selection to the George W. Bush Institute’s Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program. Military awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star (2), Meritorious Service Medal (3), Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, and Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
