Douglas earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado in 2005 before completing his J.D. at the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2008. Douglas’s work as a Certified Family Law Mediator and Advanced Practitioner Member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts has strengthened his commitment to resolution-focused advocacy. He has successfully represented clients in more than 500 divorce and custody matters in Campbell County and pioneered collaborative divorce practice in Northeastern Wyoming, helping countless families reach fair outcomes outside of court.

Douglas has also played a leading role in shaping family law statewide. He served as lead counsel in several Wyoming Supreme Court cases that set important precedents, influencing how family law is practiced throughout the state. His contributions extend beyond the courtroom through active involvement as President of the Campbell County Bar Association from 2018 to 2020 and his current board position with the Wyoming State Bar Family Law Section.
