Douglas A. Petho

Douglas A. Petho is a highly accomplished personal injury attorney and the owner of Price, Petho & Associates. With over three decades of legal experience, he has successfully represented clients in cases involving automobile accidents, trucking accidents, pedestrian injuries, slip and fall incidents, and workplace injuries. Mr. Petho earned his Bachelor of Science in Administration of Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1988 and his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in 1991. His academic achievements provided him with a strong foundation in litigation and trial advocacy.

Mr. Petho began his career as an Assistant District Attorney for the 1st Judicial District of North Carolina, where he prosecuted misdemeanor and felony cases. In 1993, he transitioned to private practice, joining a respected law firm before founding Price, Petho & Associates. Since then, he has focused exclusively on personal injury litigation, successfully trying hundreds of cases to jury verdicts. He has also served as an arbitrator in insurance disputes and as a representative on the Mecklenburg County District Court Rules Committee.
