About

Rob King is a seasoned Indiana attorney with 27 years of experience dedicated to advocating for those seriously harmed by wrongful conduct. His practice focuses on tort and medical malpractice, combining compassionate representation with aggressive legal advocacy. Rob has a track record of securing landmark legal victories and shaping Indiana law to expand the rights of Hoosiers.

Rob earned his Juris Doctor from Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law in 1998, following a Master’s degree from Utah State University and graduating summa cum laude from Boston College’s Honors Program in 1992. His extensive education and legal acumen have positioned him as a formidable advocate in trial and appellate courts, including the Indiana Supreme Court, Indiana Court of Appeals, and the 7th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals.

Throughout his career, Rob King has fought – and won – precedent-setting cases that strengthen legal protections for people across Indiana. In Hurley v. State (2016), he convinced the Indiana Supreme Court to ban selective enforcement of DUI regulations, helping ensure fairer treatment for drivers. In Alldredge v. Good Samaritan Home (2014), his advocacy led the Court to pause (toll) the wrongful death statute of limitations when fraud or concealment is involved, giving families more time to seek justice. Rob has also helped shape Indiana law on parental rights, due process for probationers, police misconduct and civil rights claims, and key appellate procedures, making him a trusted choice for complex, high-impact litigation.

Rob’s commitment to justice and legal reform has made him a respected figure in Indiana’s legal community. His ability to persist through challenges and overturn unfavorable rulings at the highest levels demonstrates his dedication to fighting for his client’s rights. Based in Indianapolis, IN, Rob continues to provide compassionate yet relentless representation, ensuring that those harmed by negligence and misconduct receive the justice they deserve.
