Donald E. Herrmann is a senior litigation partner at Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP, bringing over 35 years of trial and appellate experience to clients across Texas and beyond. He represents individuals and businesses in a wide range of civil matters, including business torts, intellectual property, antitrust, construction, employment, real estate, and commercial disputes.

Donald earned his J.D. with honors from The University of Texas School of Law in 1974 and holds a B.B.A. from The University of Texas, earned in 1968.

Donald has successfully led both trials and appeals in high-stakes commercial disputes, including precedent-setting matters before the Texas Supreme Court. His clients have included major railroads, pharmaceutical companies, electronics manufacturers, oil and gas operators, and national media entities.

Donald is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and a Sustaining Charter Fellow of the Tarrant County Bar Foundation. He has served as President of the Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court and is an elected member of both the American Law Institute and the American Board of Trial Advocates.

Admitted to practice in multiple federal courts and appellate circuits, Donald is also a frequent speaker at legal seminars and bar events. His lectures cover a wide range of topics, including trial tactics, appellate strategy, and securities litigation. His honors include repeated listings in Best Lawyers in America® since 1999 in multiple litigation categories, as well as recognitions by Texas Super Lawyers, 360 West, Fort Worth Magazine, and the Fort Worth Business Press.
