Diana M. Gomez

Diana M. Gomez is the founder and lead attorney of MG Equity Law, LLC, a woman- and Latina-owned law firm based in Connecticut. She represents individuals in criminal defense, immigration, juvenile law, child protection, and litigation matters. Her practice includes defending clients accused of crimes, assisting immigrants with complex legal proceedings, and advocating for children and families. She provides bilingual representation and focuses on clear communication, careful preparation, and practical legal guidance.

Gomez earned her J.D. cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2011. She received a B.A. in Criminology with a minor in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University in 2005. Her academic background provides a strong foundation for analyzing criminal allegations, understanding individual circumstances, and addressing the personal and legal issues involved in immigration and juvenile matters. She is admitted in Connecticut and before the US District Court for the District of Connecticut and the US Supreme Court.

Gomez has more than 14 years of legal experience and has represented over 5,000 clients. She spent more than a decade working as a public defender, focusing on criminal defense, juvenile justice, and child protection cases. She also gained private-practice experience handling immigration matters and guiding clients through complicated legal processes. Her work includes courtroom advocacy, case strategy, negotiations, and representation in matters that may affect a client’s freedom, family, or immigration status.
