Christopher Cerami

Christopher Cerami is a litigation partner at Willinger, Willinger & Bucci, PLLC who represents clients across Connecticut. His practice includes personal injury, criminal defense, employment and labor law, and business and commercial litigation. He advocates for injured people seeking compensation and defends individuals involved in the criminal justice system. Chris approaches each matter with a willingness to prepare for trial when courtroom action is needed.

Chris earned his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he developed practical defense skills through the criminal law clinic. He received his B.A. magna cum laude from the University of New Haven. His legal education and clinical training provided a strong foundation in advocacy, case analysis, negotiation, and courtroom procedure, supporting his work on disputes that require careful preparation and direct client representation.

Since joining the firm in 2019, Chris has participated in numerous jury trials, bench trials, and individual hearings. His representative results include negotiating settlements totaling millions of dollars and obtaining an award exceeding $3 million for a client whose husband died because of negligent motor vehicle operation. He also secured a defense verdict for a tenant facing a claim of more than $90,000 and helped obtain dismissal of related criminal charges.

In 2025, Christopher Cerami was recognized among Connecticut’s Top 40 plaintiffs’ attorneys under age 40. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association. Before joining the firm, he opened a solo practice in New Haven and represented clients facing difficult legal problems.
