Dennis P. Wetta

Dennis P. Wetta is a Kansas Estate Planning Lawyer with more than 30 years of legal experience. He practices business law, estate planning, real estate law, estate administration, and probate at Martin, Pringle, Oliver, Wallace and Bauer, L.L.P. He spent his first 12 years practicing with his father’s firm before joining Martin Pringle in 2003. His rural Kansas background gives him valuable insight into the needs of clients from small communities, cities, and surrounding suburbs.

Dennis earned his B.A. from Benedictine College in 1987. He received his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law in 1991. He gained admission to the Kansas Bar in 1991. His legal education and decades of practical experience support his work across several connected practice areas.

Dennis helps clients create estate plans involving asset protection, asset transfers, tax planning, wills, trusts, complex estates, and family business succession. He also guides fiduciaries and families through estate administration, probate proceedings, contested matters, and probate litigation. Dennis P. Wetta has held several leadership roles within the Wichita legal community. He served as Wichita Bar Association president from 2002 to 2003 and Wichita Bar Foundation president from 2014 to 2016. He has earned an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell and recognition in The Best Lawyers in America from 2016 through 2026. He was also named Business Organizations Lawyer of the Year in 2023.
