Chad Giles

Chad Giles is an attorney at Soule & Giles, LLC Attorneys at Law in Arkansas City, Kansas. In 2008, he received his J.D. with Dean’s Honors from Washburn University School of Law and earned a Certificate of Advocacy with distinction. His academic training supports his courtroom preparation, legal analysis, and case strategy.

Before entering private practice, Giles served approximately five years in law enforcement with the Mulvane Police Department, Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Department, and Arkansas City Police Department. He began his legal career as an associate at a local firm and later worked for about three years as a Deputy Cowley County Attorney. He then practiced independently before joining longtime friend Clayton Soule to establish their current firm. He has been admitted in Kansas and the US District Court for the District of Kansas since 2008.

Chad Giles is a current member and former president of the Cowley County Bar Association and has served on the Kansas Bar Association Board of Governors. His public service also includes work as an Arkansas City commissioner and mayor. His combined background as a US Marine, police officer, prosecutor, defense lawyer, and community leader gives him a broad understanding of criminal justice and local legal needs. He provides clients with informed advocacy, careful judgment, and practical representation.
