Denice A. Gierach

Denice A. Gierach has spent more than three decades assisting business owners with legal needs that support growth, stability, and long-term planning. She provides guidance rooted in real-world business experience, helping family-owned and privately held companies address challenges, manage risks, and build structures that support successful operations across changing business cycles.

Denice began her academic foundation by earning her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. She then advanced her education by completing her Master’s in Management at Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management. This blend of legal and management training strengthens her ability to offer practical, strategic insight.

Denice assists business owners in developing plans that support growth while protecting company values and family dynamics. She helps leaders design strategies that encourage expansion, reduce conflict, and prepare for future transitions. Her approach ensures owners can build businesses that support their goals while positioning the next generation for long-term success.

Denice created the Outsourced General Counsel program to give small and mid-sized companies access to consistent legal direction. By serving as a fractional general counsel, she helps build lasting legal systems, remove barriers to progress, and offer guidance that becomes increasingly effective as she learns the details of each client’s operations.

Denice draws from her history as a business owner, having operated multiple companies, including a large real estate development firm and a corrugated box manufacturing company. This background allows her to understand issues from a business angle first, helping her identify strong solutions, uncover opportunities, and address challenges with clarity and practicality.

Denice A. Gierach also supports charitable organizations through extensive board service, including leadership roles such as Past Chair of the DuPage Foundation.
