Deena D. Sajitharan

Deena D. Sajitharan is a committed personal injury and civil rights attorney at Pickett Dummigan Weingart. Deena earned her Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon in 2018. She holds two Bachelor of Science degrees—one magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas (2009) and another from Southern Methodist University (2007). She is licensed to practice law in Oregon (2019), Washington (2021), and the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.

Before law school, Deena spent six years as a medical researcher at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, conducting studies on autoimmune disease, cancer, heart disease, traumatic brain injury, and addiction. This scientific background enhances her ability to interpret complex medical records and explain them clearly in legal contexts.
