Deena Buchanan

Deena Buchanan is the founding partner of Buchanan Law Firm, LLC in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she represents employees in employment disputes and individuals and families in serious personal injury matters. Buchanan handles workplace discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, wage and hour claims, and class actions. Her practice also includes trucking crashes, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death, with a focus on representing people against employers, insurers, and large corporations.

Buchanan earned her J.D. from Georgetown University in 1998 and a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1995. She was admitted to practice in New Mexico in 1998 and later in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Her legal education and multistate experience support a practice involving employment laws, workplace investigations, complex litigation, and injury claims that often require detailed factual development, expert analysis, and careful trial preparation.
