Talia Kosh is a Santa Fe attorney who focuses on entertainment law, contracts, nonprofit and foundation formation and governance, and employment discrimination. She advises clients on legal structures, agreements, workplace concerns, and compliance needs. Her work combines knowledge of intellectual property, business relationships, and public-interest issues to help clients understand their responsibilities and make informed legal decisions.
Talia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from the College of Charleston. She received her Juris Doctor from Loyola School of Law in New Orleans in 2002, where she wrote for the Public Interest Law Journal. She later completed a Master of Laws in International Law at Washington College of Law in 2003. This academic background supports her ability to address legal questions involving creative work, organizations, contracts, and employment.
Talia has practiced as an attorney in Santa Fe since 2005 and is a partner in Start Good!, a nonprofit compliance service. Her experience includes helping nonprofits and foundations with formation, governance, and compliance, as well as assisting clients with entertainment agreements and employment discrimination matters. She also served as an adjunct professor at Santa Fe Community College from 2014 through 2019, bringing practical legal insight to the classroom.
Talia Kosh has held leadership and public-service roles within New Mexico’s legal and creative communities. She served on the Governor’s Council of Film and Media Industries from 2015 to 2021 and twice chaired the Intellectual Property Section of the State Bar of New Mexico. She has also been involved with New Mexico Lawyers for the Arts and Little Globe. In 2014, she received the Santa Fe Mayor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts for her work with New Mexico Lawyers for the Arts.
