Deborah Roden is the Managing Partner of Woodhouse Roden Ames & Brennan, LLC in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on business representation, civil litigation, juvenile representation, and criminal defense. She handles complex civil and criminal matters in state and federal courts at both trial and appellate levels and also represents clients in administrative matters, including proceedings involving professional and licensing boards.
Roden earned a J.D. with Honors from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2004. She received a B.A. in Mathematics with Honors and a minor in Spanish from the University of Wyoming in 1999. Her analytical training and legal education support a litigation practice that requires detailed command of evidence, procedure, and complex factual records across business, criminal, juvenile, and administrative cases.
Roden began her legal career as a law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge William C. Beaman. She later became an associate at the firm and has served as Managing Partner since 2009. She has served on Criminal Justice Act committees and panels and was appointed to the Practitioner’s Advisory Group to the United States Sentencing Commission.
