Debbie earned her B.S. in Business from Samford University. She later obtained her J.D. from Birmingham School of Law. Debbie worked as a paralegal beginning in 1993 at a Huntsville law firm before becoming an attorney. After earning her law degree and joining the Alabama Bar, she practiced with a firm in Athens before opening her own practice in Madison in 2007.
