About
Dawn M. Kelliher focuses her legal work on helping clients handle family, estate, probate, and business-related concerns with steady guidance. Her practice includes family law, estate planning, wills, trusts, contracts, business organizations, probate, and guardianships. She brings a service-minded approach shaped by earlier teaching and leadership experience.
Dawn earned her graduate background at Bridgewater State University before entering the legal field. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts School of Law, where she served as a Dean’s Fellow, received two prestigious scholarships, and worked as Executive Notes & Content Editor of the school’s Law Review.
Dawn built her early legal experience after law school by working with a local attorney in areas that later became central to her own practice. This hands-on foundation helped her understand client needs, court processes, planning documents, and the careful preparation needed in family, probate, estate, and business matters.
Dawn was admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 2017. Over the years, she has also held several executive roles, which have strengthened her communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. These skills support her work with clients who need clear advice during legal decisions that may affect their future.
Dawn assists people facing family law matters and planning needs with a calm, practical style. Her work may involve wills and trusts, guardianships, probate questions, contracts, and business organization concerns. She aims to help clients understand their options so they can make informed decisions with greater confidence.
Dawn has also shown commitment to public-interest work and education through community service. She has served as a board member for a local non-profit charitable organization. She also volunteers as a mock trial coach for Durfee High School and The Wheeler School in Providence, Rhode Island, supporting the next generation.
Dawn M. Kelliher continues to serve clients through careful preparation, direct communication, and a broad understanding of family and planning issues. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Bristol County Bar Association, and her career reflects dedication to advocacy, service, and practical legal support.
