David Wagner

David Wagner is a South Carolina criminal defense lawyer and of counsel attorney who focuses on criminal law. A lifelong resident of Upstate South Carolina, he brings more than 33 years of criminal prosecution experience to his work. His background includes service in Greenville, Anderson, and Oconee Counties, giving him deep insight into how criminal cases are evaluated, prepared, negotiated, and presented in court.

David earned his B.S. in Biology from Western Carolina University in 1987 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1991. His academic training provided a foundation in careful analysis, disciplined preparation, and problem-solving. That foundation supports his ability to assess criminal charges, review evidence, evaluate case strategy, and guide clients through difficult legal decisions with practical judgment.

David served as an Assistant Solicitor in Greenville and Anderson Counties and later as Deputy Solicitor for Oconee County. From 2017 to 2025, he served as Solicitor for the Tenth Judicial Circuit, covering Anderson and Oconee Counties. As a career prosecutor in both the 10th and 13th Circuits, he handled a wide range of criminal cases and developed substantial courtroom experience across South Carolina.
