David Sterling is a seasoned attorney with more than twenty-five years of practice in litigation and advisory roles. His career spans service in government, private practice, and leadership capacities, where he has built a strong reputation for navigating complex business disputes, employment cases, real estate litigation, and matters involving health law.

David received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1992 before completing a Master of Arts in Public Administration from the same institution in 1994. He earned his Juris Doctor from the UALR Bowen School of Law in 1997. This educational foundation equipped him with both legal and administrative expertise that continues to shape his work.

David’s career in public service included key leadership roles. He served nearly two years as General Counsel for the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services, managing its legal department and providing strategic direction. Prior to that, he was appointed by Governor Asa Hutchinson to serve as Chief Counsel of the Arkansas Department of Human Services, where for more than six years he supervised over eighty attorneys and supported nine statewide program divisions.

David also gained valuable experience in private practice during his earlier years, including time at respected Arkansas law firms. His long-standing involvement with the American Bar Association and the Arkansas Bar Association reflects his dedication to professional development and service. He has contributed in leadership roles within these organizations and has remained active in groups such as the Christian Legal Society, Federalist Society, and Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel.
