David Lepant is a Senior Partner at Lepant Law Office, PC, LLO. His general practice focuses on estate planning and probate, adoption, guardianship, real estate, and business formation. He began practicing law in 1993 and has continued serving clients with steady guidance, broad experience, and strong community values.
David graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a degree in Business Administration. He later earned his Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1993. In law school, he chaired the Allen Moot Court Board.
Before entering law, David worked for eighteen years with Miller and Paine Department Stores. He held many roles, including store management and service on the corporate executive management team. After the stores were sold to Dillards, he chose to pursue law and build a new professional path.
David began his legal practice in 1993 when he succeeded to the practice of Merrell Andersen. He also recently assumed the practice of the Schwab & Bauer law firm in Fairbury after Ron Schwab retired. These transitions helped expand his service to clients and communities across Nebraska.
David has served as Chairman of the Gage County Mental Health Board since 1999. He was also recently appointed Chairman of the Jefferson County Mental Health Board. He has been active in the Kiwanis Club of Beatrice since 1993, serving on its Board of Directors and as President.
David Lepant has built a career based on legal service, leadership, and community involvement. A highlight of his career was the Parde case, in which he successfully argued for disability benefits and marital property. His work reflects a strong commitment to clients, public service, and professional responsibility.
