David Lacher

David Lacher is a seasoned attorney known for his practical approach to wills, trusts, and estates administration, real estate matters, land use issues, and commercial transactions. For years, he has advised clients on property, planning, and business needs, appearing before zoning and planning boards and assisting with complex corporate matters through clear, client-focused solutions.

David completed his undergraduate studies at Amherst College before earning his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law. His academic path prepared him for a career grounded in careful analysis, structured problem-solving, and a commitment to serving individuals, businesses, and community organizations through well-informed legal judgment.

David has spent decades serving clients on estate administration, commercial transactions, real estate purchases, and development projects. His experience includes working with zoning and planning authorities, helping guide projects that require detailed regulatory understanding. He is admitted in New York, Connecticut, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Courts for both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

David has been deeply involved in the New Rochelle community through many leadership roles. His service includes the Board of Education, where he served multiple terms as president, as well as the New Rochelle Industrial Development Agency and several nonprofit and civic boards. His honors include the Educator award from the New Rochelle Branch of the NAACP, the Educational Leader of the Year award from the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce, and recognition from the Interreligious Council of New Rochelle.

David Lacher also shares his knowledge through speaking and teaching. He has instructed continuing legal education programs on several topics, including the federal Corporate Transparency Act, and serves as a volunteer judge for major collegiate mock trial competitions. His earlier career included legal roles in major corporations and respected New York law firms, giving him a broad foundation he continues to apply in service to clients and the community.
