David L. Ayers

David L. Ayers is a Jackson attorney and a member at Watkins & Eager PLLC, whose practice focuses on product liability, mass torts, commercial disputes, premises claims, and personal injury defense. He has extensive experience defending manufacturers in cases involving automobiles, heavy equipment, industrial machinery, consumer products, and recreational products. His work includes individual lawsuits, class actions, and complex mass tort proceedings. He has represented domestic and international clients in matters involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death claims, alleged product defects, and other high-exposure lawsuits and disputes.

David earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University. He later received his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law. During law school, he served as Articles Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal. His academic background prepared him for a litigation career involving complex factual records, technical products, and substantial commercial interests.

David has handled commercial litigation, premises litigation, and general personal injury matters throughout his career. His product liability work has involved allegations concerning automotive systems, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, and recreational products. David L. Ayers was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 1983 and is admitted to state and federal courts throughout Mississippi. He is admitted before the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
