David J. Volk, Esq., has dedicated more than three decades to guiding businesses and individuals through complex commercial disputes. His practice spans issues such as contract breaches, shareholder disagreements, real estate matters, fraud, creditor rights, and government-related conflicts. With extensive trial experience, he has represented clients in numerous high-stakes cases across Florida and other states.

David earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration with an accounting major from West Virginia University in 1983, followed by his Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law in 1987. While in law school, he was active on the Moot Court Board and Lugar Trial Association, and also served as a legal research and writing teaching assistant. He is admitted to practice before the Florida Bar, the West Virginia Bar, all Florida Federal District Courts, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

David achieved Board Certification in Business Litigation from the Florida Bar, a credential held by fewer than one percent of attorneys in the state. His qualifications also include recognition as a qualified arbitrator and designation in bankruptcy and collections law. He has completed advanced training programs in trial advocacy and frequently speaks on legal topics ranging from bankruptcy and collections to trade secrets and ethics. His teaching experience includes serving as an adjunct professor and leading small business venture clinics.

David J. Volk draws on decades of courtroom experience to represent clients in both litigation and advisory matters, helping them protect their rights, resolve disputes, and tackle complex business challenges with confidence. As lead counsel, he has tried roughly eighty-five cases and handled more than 850 hearings. His litigation experience spans multimillion-dollar foreclosure actions, fraud judgments, bankruptcy disputes, and high-stakes contract litigation. He has successfully defended clients against substantial deficiency claims, resolved intricate lender liability cases, and managed sophisticated commercial landlord‑tenant disputes. His practice also includes governmental misconduct and asset forfeiture litigation.
