David E. Wattel

David E. Wattel is a founding member of Wattel & York in Arizona, where he focuses exclusively on personal injury law. For more than three decades, he has represented individuals harmed by the negligence of others. Throughout his career, he has actively litigated cases and successfully advocated for more than 16,000 injured clients.

Mr. Wattel earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois in 1984. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the Arizona State University College of Law in 1988. His educational background in economics and law provides a strong analytical framework for evaluating damages and complex injury claims.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Wattel has handled a wide range of personal injury matters, including automobile accidents, property damage claims, and diminished value disputes. He is known for thoroughly preparing cases for litigation and pursuing full and fair compensation for medical expenses, lost income, and long-term damages on behalf of his clients.

In addition to representing injury victims, Mr. Wattel founded the American Institute of Personal Injury Physicians (AIPIP), where he trains physicians on properly documenting personal injury claims. Mr. Wattel also speaks nationally to auto body shops and professional associations regarding diminished value and property damage issues.
